Nightband Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By downloading or using Nightband you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms are between you and RezAppStudio.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nightband on devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it.

3. Nightband is a calculator, not financial or legal advice

This is the most important term here, so it is stated plainly.

Nightband performs arithmetic on figures you enter, using pay-band rules that are a general starting point rather than a copy of your contract. Its output is an estimate of what your shifts should be worth on those assumptions. It is not a payslip, not a statement of what you are contractually or legally owed, and not financial, employment, tax or legal advice.

Your contract, local agreement, bank or agency arrangement, tax code, pension contributions and deductions all affect what you actually receive. Always check your own contract and speak to your employer, payroll department, union representative or a qualified adviser before relying on any figure — particularly before raising a pay dispute.

4. Accuracy and your responsibility

The figures Nightband produces depend entirely on the accuracy of the times, rates and bands you enter. We take reasonable care with the calculation itself, but we do not warrant that any figure is correct for your circumstances. You are responsible for reviewing anything you rely on or share.

5. Your data

Your data is stored on your device and is your responsibility. We have no copy and cannot recover it. If your device is lost, damaged, reset or the app is uninstalled, unbacked-up data is gone permanently. Use the backup feature regularly if the data matters to you.

6. Advertising

Nightband is provided free of charge and is funded by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. By using the app you accept that ads will be displayed. We do not control, endorse or take responsibility for the content of third-party ads or the sites they lead to. Attempting to interfere with ad delivery, or generating artificial ad interactions, is a breach of these terms.

7. Availability

We may update, change or discontinue Nightband, or any of its features, at any time and without notice. We are not obliged to maintain the app indefinitely. Pay-band rule packs are updated on a best-effort basis and may lag behind changes to national pay arrangements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of earnings, loss of data, loss of profit, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Nightband — including any decision, dispute or claim based on figures produced by the app. The app is provided "as is" and "as available".

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Nightband unlawfully, do not attempt to disrupt or compromise it, and do not use it to produce documents you know to be misleading.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of your local law.

11. Changes

We may revise these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or on this page before taking effect. Continuing to use Nightband after that constitutes acceptance.
