How to delete your Nightband data

There is no account to delete

Nightband has no sign-up, no login and no user account. We hold no server-side record of you, so there is no account for us to close and no remote data for us to erase. Everything Nightband knows about you is on your phone.

Option 1 — delete individual shifts

Open any shift from the Period or Rota screen and choose Delete. It is removed from the device database immediately and permanently.

Option 2 — erase everything, keep the app

Go to Settings → Erase all data. After a confirmation prompt, every shift, job, rate and setting is deleted from the device. This cannot be undone.

Option 3 — uninstall

Uninstalling Nightband removes its local database along with it. Android may also offer Settings → Apps → Nightband → Storage → Clear data, which has the same effect without removing the app.

Backup files you created yourself

If you exported a backup, that file is under your control in whichever location you saved it — your device storage, Google Drive, an email to yourself. Deleting the app does not delete those copies. You will need to delete them wherever you put them.

Advertising data

Ad-related identifiers are held by Google, not by us. To reset or delete your advertising ID, go to Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can also withdraw ad personalisation consent from Settings → Privacy options inside Nightband.
